Meanwhile Notch has become a conspiracy theorist whose increasingly erratic twitter behaviour has led to a situation best described as...

Now playing

No, let this tired complaint die already. Don’t like it? Don’t watch, don’t complain, and don’t rain on other people’s parades.

It's surely helped the community at least narrow down potential changes. Knowing that something was changed in somebody's back air makes it much easier to know where to look.

This update seems to have come at the cost of losing the assist trophy duplication glitch I’m afraid. Just tried it out and it seems to prefer grabbing the other Isabelle now instead of the trophy. Good thing I got a screenshot of endless wah to remember it by. Wishing I’d done a replay though.

As Chris mentions at the end of the article, it’s really easy to create a Japanese account and download the Famicom version of the NES launcher. It took me all of 10 minutes and I’m sure I’ll take advantage of the Japanese store in the future.

They literally made air dodges back to how they were in melee (directional), except with more distance and now you aren’t prevented from doing a recovery move afterwards.  I again stipulate that you haven't played a previous Smash game in the series otherwise you would know this

It’s a bit of a workaround, but at least the NES app has save states for all of its games, letting you do exactly that.

Really, if they could just alter Zelda II’s game over to respawn you using the same logic as a regular death (and not AAAAALLLL the way back at the beginning of the *entire* world map) the game would be infinitely more playable without losing any of the otherwise satisfying difficulty.

And in other news... tasting a sirloin steak is better than looking at the picture on the menu.

Big fish in a small pond mentality. They never lose, so their ego gets too big.

Boy howdy, I had to look real hard at the sentence “almost no one plays [fighting games]” a few times before it made sense to me. You really think EVO is out here holding multiple 10k+ person tournaments every year for, like, the average schmoes who just happen to stumble into Mandalay Bay and are like “yeah, I could

I pick up items and throw them off the edge so the CPUs can’t use them against me.

I like the level where the different Pokemon come out of the door. I can really do some damage if I get the hammer at the same time that Charizard appears.

Sometimes, I can beat the CPU if it’s fighting with another CPU and I hit it right with the sparkly part of a c-stick move.

For you maybe but for everyone that wants to play games on a high competitve level it’s expected. It’s maybe not the most fun part of it but after it’s done you can have more fun again.

tl;dw?

Individual captions of who the character being portrayed is, and what they're from would also be nice. What you have is pretty good, though.

He probably got redesigned for Smash. If you’re up against Squirtle or Greninja, or some water-shooting Assist Trophy, you definitely want waterproofing.

Probably a Retron 3
