Yeah they are both definitely abused...and you could say it might be at its worst when they are abused together. Better to think about it and be confused than to not think at all and end up like those consumers being taken on rides (on seatless unicycles). =]

But then I'd be paying $40 for MH4 instead of the $27 I paid thanks to a preorder deal posted by Kotaku. While Preordering and DLC share some common ground, they aren't one in the same.

I just wish there was a consistent standard. Some people review games with the full scale (0 - 100) where others review with a US grading scale where <60 is failing. When you mix these two grading scales together...you are going to get some pretty jacked up results. One reviewers 1/10 is the same as another

I think most people here would agree that parents should take interest in their kids hobbies. A lot of parents dismiss video games though because they see them as unimportant and not as beneficial as other hobbies like sports or music.
