Sabrina signing the book kind of spoiled the show for me. I wanted her to stay (relatively) good and fight Satan. I guess the next season will consist of her walking that back somehow, but I’m not sure I’m interested in watching that.

I thought this was the weakest episode so far. The whole trial is theatrical and ridiculous, and not in a good way. I also hate the trope of blaming lawyers for defending “bad people”.
She looks much younger than she is, though. I couldn’t believe her actual age when I saw it on IMDb.
Die Nebenwelt does *not* mean “the next world” (in a temporal sense), it’s more like “the parallel world”, or “the world next to us” (in a sense of location).
This is one of the shows where I have the hardest time to keep track of the plot. I re-watched the season 2 finale in preparation, but I still wasn’t entirely sure what was going on all of the time.
I like it better than Legion so far.
I’m with Randall on this one. I hated Swiss Army Man, and I will never watch a film with Paul Dano again, if I can help it.
I really hope there will be more Whitney in season 5. I had no idea you could be billed as a series regular and only appear in a single episode!
That’s it.
Her role here is more like the one she had in Manhattan, which is where I noticed her for the first time. I only realized later that I had already seen her in The Americans ...
That wasn’t some “orchestral soundtrack”, that was Mozart’s Requiem ...
I saw it in a theater when it came out. Maybe I was young and naive, but I couldn’t believe that actual human beings would behave that way. TBH, I still don’t. I wonder if I would like it better now than I did in 1992.
I had expected at least one pregnancy up there!
I wonder how many viewers got the Peter Greenaway reference! Doesn’t really fit the target audience of the show, I would think.
I like Lyta and Nyssa, but not much else so far. I guess I’ll give it one more episode to become interesting.
It mostly reminded me of Veronica Mars!
I guess Jessica Jones just isn’t the show I want it to be. I would prefer something more like Veronica Mars, but I’d also settle for something more like the original Jessica Jones: Alias comic books. Neither are as dark as this show. Being as it is, I’m pretty sure I won’t be back for season 3.
I did not buy Inez falling for that so easily, though. And even if she did believe Jeri, why should that definitely lead to her shooting that guy?
I’m really starting to hate this season. You mention all the reasons to do so, but for you there are apparently mitigating factors that don’t do it for me. I plan to watch the next two episodes, but unless something changes dramatically, I will be done with Jessica Jones and probably all Netflix Marvel shows. As much…
I really liked most of the first season, but contrary to what most people seem to feel about this episode, I didn’t think it was an improvement. I’m a bit wary regarding the new even more complicated “mythology” ...
