I have only watched the first episode of "Humans", but based on that I liked the original better.

He was talking about using the London mainframes as well. So they could have some sort of follow-the-moon scheme.

There were several season 1 episodes I liked better than this one.

I enjoyed the first episode more than I had feared after the lukewarm reviews. On to episode two!

W00t! Shoutout for The New Pornographers!

Didn't like it as much, alas. Too German, if I may say so as a German.

Worst episode ever …

So we should be calling them "people of power" instead?

Not enough Mia Kirshner. I wonder if the original plan was to have her present more, but her scenes were cut? It makes no sense to me that Danny shouldn't have had visions of Sarah after episode 6, or whatever the last one with her was …

Presumably S2 will have even less Mia Kirshner, which sucks.

My order would be Rectify, Broad City, The Affair, Bloodline.

"Kirshner is never overused" is making it sound like a good thing … I can't believe how little they did with her.

Interesting yes, but much smaller than I had hoped for. And I can't help but think that it was originally intended to be bigger.

I've only watched the first episode so far, so I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler, but I was a bit disappointed that Mia Kirshner appears to be only a minor character, who is also quite probably dead. I hope we'll see more of her, but at this point I'm not counting on it.

FWIW, she actually pops up five minutes into the first episode :-)

News articles a while ago said that Mia Kirshner is also in the show, but so far I haven't seen confirmation of that. Does anybody already know if she actually shows up in later episodes?

I loved "Everyone Else" and just prioritized "The Forest For The Trees" in my Lovefilm queue.

What a horrible waste of time this show has been! I hate myself for ever having watched it …

Say what you will, there's some pretty good acting, mostly from Mia Kirshner.

I actually saw "The Island of Dr. Moreau" in a theater the day it opened while I was in New York on vacation. I don't think I'd read any reviews and decided to watch it because of Frankenheimer and Brando. Sigh.
