I have sampled many a ginger beer in my quest for the perfect Moscow Mule, and Fever Tree is the definitive, hands-down winner.

Not to be that guy, but it's technically Canada goose, not Canadian goose.

Agreed, he's great. I've read all his novels and Locke and Key, and have thoroughly enjoyed them all. I just picked up a short story collection, hopefully it's as good as the rest of his stuff.

I've been eating ketchup on my potato chips ever since I can remember - a habit I picked up from my dad (I'm totes 'merican, btw). I have tried a few different ketchup flavored chips over the years, and haven't been a big fan of any of them.

I like it too - found it in the $5 bin a year or so ago and my kids and I have watched it a few times. Nice blend of humor and horror.

Nobody beats him!

One of the reasons I'm most interested in Secret Life of Pets is that he seems to be re-using his "grumpy old man" character voice from SNL. One of my favorite skits when I was a kid.

Isn't there an internet meme thing where people are posting the entire script to the original in random places?

Which perfectly distills why so many of the best books are so difficult to adapt to the screen. Beautiful prose rarely sounds natural when spoken out loud, which is a real problem when your characters are supposed to be believable.

I've just started reading Patrick Rothfuss' Name of the Wind, and just 70 pages or so in, I'm absolutely loving it. Beautiful prose, plus I can't put it down.

I guess I'm just a comic book nerd, and it inherited goodwill from my enjoyment of some of these characters. And probably from my enjoyment of the Flash TV show. But, you're probably right.

I actually like Ray's cheeseball hero schtick, too. I think it works well for the character.

Mittens Sandwich, I'm pretty sure.

So true! I am definitely biased. Günther can be very insightful, but he's not always that impressive. He found a tin can one afternoon and spent hours deciding whether he was going to eat it or crawl inside it and make it his new home.

I'm sorry, but I respectfully disagree. I have a prescient Austrian octopus (with a goat's head - long story), and I consider him an invaluable member of my close circle of advisors.

I loved it too, very psyched for the new seasons.

Thank you, those were my thoughts exactly. I love this show, and generally tolerate its leaps of logic just fine, but I could not understand why they weren't kicking Zoom's ass the second Wally was out of there. Sportsmanship?

Another Dayton region person here!

I just watched it a week ago and I enjoyed it as well.

I did put it on because of this review, and immediately wanted to start crying. Partially because of the context (longing for what could have been), but mostly because it's just so achingly beautiful.
