I dunno if they could have gotten away with that, but she does call herself “Harley Quinn, Medicine Person” during the scene. If it ends up online over the weekend, I’ll be sure to put it into the article.

Diana doesn’t “get the blame” for Clark turning. For as bad as Clark is in the Injustice Universe, you still get the sense that he could be reasoned with and even brought back if he would actually deal with his grief properly and wasn’t so damn stubborn. We even get a glimpse of who he used to be toward the end of the

Nonononononono it won’t be a CW production unless characters get incredibly upset by not having been told something.
Or the typical spending 6-7 minutes dodging a question by repeating “i have no time to explain” instead of just quickly explaining it.

I really like CW productions like Arrow, Flash, etc...but I’m more

Try the Spartacus TV show.

What the hell kind of armor is that!?! Both her midsection and her shoulders are completely covered! And that skirt is long enought to cover vital arteries in the thighs! Do they not know any of the rules of female fantasy characters!?! Oh, wait. Her chestplate is boob shaped. So they do know some.

Yeah even in the featurette they just say it’s borrowing from the series, to make it clear it’s not BTAS.

Eh sorta. He’s tied up and gets an erection after seeing her leaning down, that’s when she gets on top of him and he clearly gives consent. After that batman finds them tickling each other.....

DC Animated used to be their strength! what happened?

Is anyone at DC paying attention to this? I’m (moderately) outraged. This and The Killing Joke look like absolute garbage.

I agree with almost this entire article. It felt as if they were trying to sex her up “Suicide Squad” style. I don’t, however, think the animation looked bad. It was a call back to TAS and it captured that aesthetic perfectly. Shit movie, but I enjoyed the art style, oh, and I liked that they jabbed at Nightwings old

I haven’t seen the film yet myself, but the descriptions seem consistent with the problem I’ve been having with the DC Universe animated movies for years now — that they cater to a 13-year-old boy’s idea of what adult storytelling is, with lots of gratuitous violence and sophomoric cheesecake. And Timm’s contributions

Bruce Timm has lost his mind. Was it Paul Dini who was responsible for all the writing on B:TAS or what?

My mouth is literally hanging open in disbelief. Who the fuck thought this would be a good idea? Especially after Killing Joke???

Didn’t the Robin figure (which was a big deal at the time since it was the first one of the modern Tim Drake costume) have a VERY weird headsculpt that people theorized was Marlon Wayans’?

Jesus Christ, America. Fix your goddamn life.

I’m going to ask you a very serious question here.

The other real dumb part about Burnham being Spock’s sister is that this is inevitably without a doubt going to lead to Young Spock being on this show. The producers are not going to be able to help themselves.

Oh, they have seen other Trek stuff.
