Not to mention the neck adjustments have likely killed a few people

The latter was first though, so the term is pretty toxic really. The entire foundation of chiropractic is based on pseudoscience. If someone is doing legitimate spinal manipulation therapy, they should probably pick a different name.

Yeah, but if they are basing their treatment on “subluxations” it is all made up pseudoscience. If they are doing spinal manipulation therapy, they are really basically just a physical therapist.

I can’t imagine there ever being a need for performing chiropractic manipulation on a child.

Ha! (though he is running the wrong direction)

It is certainly going to be an interesting one until a replacement is confirmed. A lot of big cases could end up tied which means the appellate holding stands. In many cases the reason we are at the Supreme Court is because of conflicting Appellate decisions. So a tie often means different law in different states.
You

I don’t think that is true. Depending on the particular case, all of the justices are pretty active at oral argument except for Thomas. Thomas is speaking now because is mouthpiece Scalia is gone. There are a number of cases where there was considerable back and forth between Scalia and other justices. What I think

note, I agree with you that he would have shut down the arguments, I just disagree with what that means about him. I think a lot of lawyers who have experience studying opinions quickly see through his pseudo-intellectual rhetoric.

Well here is one that went to law school that doesn’t concede his brilliance. My con law professor was a former clerk and he didn’t concede his brilliance either. You can also read the Salon article by law professor Paul Campos titled “

I agree he had power and was a well known bully. That doesn’t mean he would have understood the issue though. His brilliance is more myth than fact.

You are right, he didn’t ever say “I don’t know how this works” he just made authoritative statements that made it clear. For example, he didn’t know that gay people are not pedophiles. And in any patent case he was hopelessly lost. I’ll say he was clever. He was clever at acting like an intellectual when he was just

this is a joke right? ...right???

Looking at updated information, it looks like it has shifted, though barely. According to the recent information from the NY Times, Hillary has spent 97.5 million to Bernie’s 81.6 million. According to Polictico, Bernie outspent Hillary in January by 15 million and according to WaPo, Bernie outspent Hillary in

Not sure if trolling or don’t understand what “average” means

she is spending less money so far than Sanders

Interesting mention of “white allegiance” when Hillary is the only one getting minority votes.

I actually attended a charity event at the Mansion once. It is really quite nice and clean. That said, I did not enter the water in the grotto.

It think it is unfortunate but understandable. I have a friend who is the on call psych consult for a number of hospitals and it seems like they are constantly flooded with some very unstable people. A single allegation would be easy to dismiss as false given that context.

though shouldn’t the environment also make it easier for the victims to prove their case? The drugs are highly controlled and requesting them would be recorded. If it is something ordered that is out of sync with the complaint it may help prove their case.

was he discrediting them based on what they did after or discrediting them based on lying about what they did after? The thing is, when caught in a lie whether in the US or Canada, your testimony is basically all considered suspect. If that is all you have, there is no way legal to convict even if you personally
