formula has vitamin C. If the baby was drinking formula they would not have scurvy. I think the evidence speaks louder than their claim of a “formula”

It is modified cow’s milk in formula to be digestible. Doctor’s recommend no actual cow’s milk before 1 year.

I think they have different levels of gag reflex. Our 9mo old has had a slow path to chunky food because he gags. Now he is getting better and better. I think you have to introduce..see how it goes...try again later if not good.

the big difference is that soy based formula still has a lot of other vitamins and nutrients added. Just off the shelf almond milk has to be very nutritionally deficient.

actually most doctors don’t recommend cow’s milk till 1 year. Formula even milk based has been modified to avoid problems. Some have allergies, so there are soy based formulas.
