Tesla is still in Level-2 self-driving, which is NOT EVEN CLOSE to “full self driving”. Waymo is already at Level 4. With the missing Lidar, I doubt Tesla can ever attain Level 4 or 5. No amount of “software update” is going to help.

Too many tests showing all of these systems following a car, which moves over to avoid an obstacle, followed by the system going “hurr-durrr... Oh, beep-beep *crunch*” into said obstacle. Tesla/Elon Musk is the stripper of the automotive world and Autopilot is sex. They’re going to sell you on the idea that Champagne Room is where you’re going to get laid but when it’s just a lap dance in a private place, go with “I never actually promised and you know I can’t actually do [X]...”
