Well, you hit on several high points in the story— namely that the Cult wants to pretend like “grid advances that we might have in 40 years” are a good reason to buy a Tesla car today, despite that car being very unlikely to be on the road in 10 years, much less 40.

I’m not aware of anyone having one delivered at that price point.  A few have managed to get the $37.4K car.
