Many a time I yelled because of those arrows. It took watching someone else play to finally see the visual cue. Too much was going on to know what the hell I was looking for until it was too late. Until the Nameless King, those arrows were the hardest thing about the game for me.

...and then consider the task of indie game developer who, when thinking about the door, needs to think about, and answer, pretty much all of those questions on their own. And then people complain when they price their game over $15 trying to get paid at least a bit after spending a year or two with all that stuff on

This. I want to see more of this. For other facets of game creation both mobile and console. Also would be great to see for other jobs and things as applicable for other Gawker media properties. CG animation is a wondrous beast

There is a really smart rule that smart people follow. If you plan to work above the level of disposable minimum wage worker, keep your trap shut about anything even remotely controversial. Yeah yeah, gotta be progressive blah blah free speech. Corporate doesn’t give a shit nor should they. You need to be bland in

Love all the armchair reactions to her firing as if they know everything that happened. Nintendo doesn’t owe anyone an explanation for shit.
