I think this will improve. Focus is gone and the next Golf will only be sold here in expensive trims. The problem that Mazda have right now is that you can get a GTI for the same price as a middling 3. 

I have more faith in the Mazda 3 alone than I do for the entire 2020 Nissan lineup.
