I have owned a 2012 and I have a 2017 now. The 2012 had the fuel pump replaced (under warranty). No other issues from it. The 2017 is over a year old now (9,000 miles) and no issues. I think VW does get a bad rap for reliability because they used to be awful. Anything relatively newer that has been taken proper care

I always liked the CC, but I always thought they are overpriced. I did like that you could get a CC in a manual. I test drove one once and was really temped by it. If you want a CC though, they are a prime candidate to buy used. They depreciate pretty bad in the first few years.

In the ever present pursuit of more CUV/SUV sales, GM makes the Traverse RS. You know because “Reality Sucks”.

You know why that is? They aren’t complete utter crap. Think about the other hatchbacks that are here in America. Versa - Crap, Sonic/Spark - Mostly Crap, Accent - Mostly Crap. The Mazda3 is not awful, and the GTI is a downright luxury car compared to the rest. I don’t think it’s Americans hate hatchbacks, we just

I think the biggest hurdle this car is going to have is the dealerships. Having owned a luxury car in the past, I just don’t think KIA dealerships are on the same planet as the other brands.

Well kids are eating tide pods, so logically a mop should be the go to for breaking into a Tacoma.

It was a piece of crap. But...I think that’s just because it was a Caliber.

How much are Jeep Compasses new? I thought they were like $20,000. If they are losing $9,652 in one year, that is like getting one half off.

I have a funny story about the Accent.

I completely agree with you. I think the average is over $34k now. Which to me seems absolutely crazy, but then I look at how expensive trucks and Suburbans/SUVs have gotten (which let’s be honest represent a tons of sales). Then I realize the $34k makes sense.

Actually I am kind of disappointed that you don’t say that in all your reviews. I mean we all know that is what you are thinking :)

You beat me to that.... :)

I love dad jokes. My two older sons (11 and 13) do not however.

Most RAV4s are FWD anyways. I take it as it has 4 wheels. :)

I doubt you meant it like that, but I read that as you bought a Acura in 2003 and paid it off in 2017 (thus a 14 year loan). It made me smile.

Better be careful. Someone might have a beef with you from all these puns.

I would like to point out that $18,295.00 in 1993 adjusted to now is $31,628.03

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I remember as a kid those flaps. I loved just browsing and seeing all the cool toys. I haven’t been in a Toys R Us in a long time. My son is old enough now that is enjoying my old Star Wars toys from when I was kid (my mom kept pretty much EVERY toy from my childhood). There is a
