Holy Smokes! There is more than one of these! I thought this was the one I see tooling around in NC, but that has a California plate on it. So apparently at least two people in America have done this.

He stopped by to say ‘Hi’ from the propane explosion article.
Well we can rule out it is any sort of Jeep, because we would already have an article about David’s new project.
Someone sprayed pepper spray in the office again.....Yup that is why my eyes are watering.
I don’t know if that was the case back in the day, but the Sahara trim is the posh (?) trim now. Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Step bars become standard. Leather is an option at Sahara trim level as well.
“How to sell a car in a buyer’s market”.
Having worked in a dealership in the past, repair damage does NOT make a car used. For example, if a tractor trailer backs into a car and the front end has to be repaired. It is still sold as new (I know this from personal experience, however I was not the one that sold the car. Not sure if they ever told the buyer…
I think there is an easy way to fix this. Anything that is over 15% APR, has to go through special approval process, such as verifying income and customer understanding of payment. Make it like mortgages and their total debt liability can’t exceed like 50% or something.
I have never understood the crazy used prices on some of these mass market vehicles. Like I get why a limited production Ferrari will hold value, but why does a Wrangler (or Tacoma)? The factory is churning them out, so production is not “low”.
The small town I live in has a at least one or two current generation F-150 as police vehicles. Not sure how different they are from the ones you pick up at the dealer. I see them around town fairly often, so its used for regular “duty”.
No, I am not crying. I just ate something that was really spicy.....yup spicy.....
Tom, you can’t post stuff like this... I have been wanting to get another Miata for some time now. My poor NA got totaled (a 94 Laguna Blue R-Package at that....), and my NB was sold when I changed jobs. I have been Miata-less for about a decade.
Ford Explorer Sport Trac. And I agree it was a dumb vehicle, but hey Honda is doing it the Pilot (Ridgeline) and they cant keep up with demand.....
Nah we won’t get it in the US because we don’t hatchbacks or manual transmissions.........
I think this is really a case by case basis. I can’t remember the exact story, but the old tale of the guy who bought a Porsche for like $100. The wife sold it because the husband was cheating or something like that. So I know it worth more than this, the seller knows it’s worth more, but they are ok with the lower…
I love the fact that is filed under “Literally Car Porn”.
I see they bearly got away.
If I recall correctly it was the M5 with the V10 (?) that was never supposed to have a manual and it got one for us. I could be wrong (BMWs are not my thing).
Is the liquor store for you or the kids? No judgement, cause I have 3 and them alone almost cause me to drink :)
I saw this coming from a mile away. They were not going to develop and “package” a single engine for one car. Honda is too much about the bottom line to do that. I would even venture a guess that this decision was made a while ago and probably the only reason the USA is getting the Civic SI.
