I only wish I could get the Remote app to work...It connects alright, I get the code in iTunes and copy it over and then...nothing. It keeps searching for librarier forever. Such a shame!

@kellanpan: I learned using NetBeans, and use Eclipse at work now. NetBeans is a lot less confusing, more intuitive, easier to use for basic stuff. I never did anything particularly advanced with it. Eclipse is confusing at first but I think it's more customizable and by now it does what I want most of the time

@Paul_Is_Drunk: Dracula came out in 1897 though, and repressed sexuality was the norm then. Twilight came out over 100 years later, so being just as sexually repressed makes it worse than "not that bad", I think. I've read both (well, the first book of twilight) and I never wanted to throw Dracula across the room,

@Jason Lambert: Not officially, because it might get hot, but I've been using it very successfully for two weeks now and it never seemed even a bit warmer than usual. Not really a decisive testing period though, I know...

@CSVM: You're supposed to keep it plugged in...

I don't understand why you sometimes use natalie dee images when she's mocked the concept of "life hacking" several times... Anyway, I love you both, so this was an unsettling experience:

I've tried chrome, but Firefox is exactly the way I want it now, and I couldn't replicate that experience on chrome. FF just interacts much better with extensions, for now; things like delicious bookmarks, read it later and laspass look and feel much better for example, at least to me, and I use those all the time.

@KamWrex: Thanks again, everyone, and especially you, KamWrex...I don't have the manual, but this review pointed me in the right direction, and sure enough, there IS an aux jack. I feel a bit foolish for not having found it before, because I've really looked long and hard, but on the other hand it is ridiculously well

@Marand: Thanks for the advice, everyone!

I have a company car (a Mini) with a radio that can't be replaced. Although it has "aux" as a mode as well as cd and radio, there doesn't seem to be any way to connect an external device, which is a shame because I'd really love to be able to play music from my ipod in my car. Any ideas on a way around this, anyone? I

@Valkyrie607votesMizJenkins: That's not true. I think the tree is just trying to be international - a must in the multilingual capital of a tiny country.

I just realised I've been picturing Roland as Clint Eastwood (I'm currently reading the last book). Come on, he's only 80, he can still do it!

What I'd like is a good place to find out about new shows. I follow io9 for science fiction but often I'll find out about a good regular drama show only years after it started. Following general tv sites usually seems to mean reading every rumour about every contestant of every reality show ever made, and that's a bit

@Spikette: I thought that sounded familiar! I can't believe somebody actually tried to go through with that. Such a great book...

I love read it later, it's probably my most used firefox extension. I love the firefox-integration and the ability to download entire pages exactly as they are so I can view them offline when the work internet connection is once again failing. Also love the google reader integration.
