I didn't like the Walking Dead comic at all - so many clichés and platitudes, so much sexism. I like the basic premise, though, it had everything to be a good classic zombie story. Maybe the tv series will realise that potential better, I'll definitely check it out.

I love it. The only thing that I think needs improvement is the fact that you can't see the boomerang button from your inbox/other mail lists.

@swc oxcart: yes, thanks, I was all bummed out by having missed the lifehacker-invite-window!

@h4nn4h: never mind, I bothered to search a bit myself now and apparently, it's a "coming next" "core GTD"-feature. Great! I could actually see this replacing remember the milk for me now.

Looks great, but doesn't it do repeating tasks? Or is that not a "GTD" thing?

@whoa: I agree. It'd be bad enough if they just let the pictures speak for themselves (look, ugly poor people! haha!), but the comments are something else.

@Phoshi: I've tried to get into BSG twice but gave up both times. I'm tempted to try again, because just like last time, I can only remember wonderful things about the few episodes I watched. I wonder what made me stop?

I'm using the 64 bit version of Windows 7 (home premium). A little thing that's been driving me nuts is the thumbnails it generates, or fails to generate, seemingly at random. I'd like it if there was an easy way to make sure thumbnails were always generated, and stayed visible, for video files (.avi, but also .mp4

@tenio: I think it IS a good combination, at least if both fields really interest you. Especially if you want to start your own business or just "go into computer business" in general. What you take as your major should depend on what you want your future job to focus on, of course.

Okay, so it looks alright. I can get past the "unnecessary remake" thing but what I'll never forgive this movie for is that they got rid of the Morrissey reference. Shame on you, Americans :D

@russbii: I was just going to say the same thing. I have a hp probook 4710s, and I've tried everything I could think of (including "googling like crazy") but there seems to be no way at all to turn off the touch pad. Verrry annoying, especially since my old laptop (a 6 year old Dell) automatically disabled the touch

@mikita: Thank you, I was starting to lose faith in humanity here.

Haha, torture, funny. Except, no, it really isn't.

The "arrow keys for tabs" trick does seem like more work than ctrl-tab to me, but it made me discover that you can use the arrow keys to browse through galleries. THAT'll make my internet life a lot easier!

VOTE: Remember the milk

It breaks my heart every time gizmodo implies its intended audience is male :(

This can't be as good as those 5 seconds make it look. *trying not to have any expectations*

@ctsamurai: But what he (and everyone here) seems to miss is that not getting a new car/whatever you like every few years doesn't always have to do with "denying yourself" things by buying other stuff (that you also "deserve") instead. Probably that's the kind of world I was getting at: a very shielded one! Most

@Cornflower: I did read that second sentence. It only clarifies why you shouldn't buy one even if you do deserve one.
