I'd never trust the advice of anyone who thinks everyone "deserves" a new car every couple of years. What world does he live in?

@ImmaLion: You can access your files from the internet, too!
@cooltech786: Thanks, that would work. But is there a free application that lets you do that?
@minealone6: Probably a useless tip, but we just got a new clock (for the wall) and I noticed that works on one battery...
@DavinClytias: Yeah I should have made that clearer. By page 1 I meant the inside of the cover...so that pages that go together in a book never go together in a pdf.
Happy friday everyone!
Haha so your brain doesn't need to wake up to read a book, and reading's not "or anything else that will stimulate your brain" ? Hehe. Although I have to say, I almost never have any problems in falling asleep and I always read in bed. So I guess it isn't OVERstimulating anyway, except when it's an extremely good book…
@vostokoflove: Thanks, that sounds like just the thing. Any tips on good folder monitors for itunes? I thought they didn't exist.
@Zuzax: Thanks, but I forgot to add: my computers aren't on the same network. It's my home desktop computer (which has my perfectly organised itunes library), and my (mostly) work laptop. I don't have wireless internet so I almost never use the laptop at home. I have a regularly automatically made backup of my music…
Is there ANY easy way to sync itunes libraries between my two (Windows 7) computers? I mean the contents, I don't really care about play counts and stars and all that, just my cds and maybe podcasts, audiobooks and playlists. Seems like a pretty basic concept but I haven't been able to figure it out.
I'm pretty lazy, of average intelligence and not very ambitious. Great combination!

@Tyler Miranda: you'll have to press m, I think!
I've never napped in my life, since I've always found it impossible to sleep during the daytime and just felt stupid lying there, awake with my eyes closed, whenever I've tried. This article does shed a new and interesting light on that experience, though! I'll save it for later, in case I get a more stressful life…
6 am, like most of us, it seems! I'm so glad I'm a morning person anyway, it must be hell to have a day job when you're a night person...
@Willard Schmillard: Being eloquent can often mean keeping it simple!
@justlaze: I agree, I'll keep the excerpts because it's close to what I always did anyway: use google reader for scanning and saving interesting items in read-it-later, then visit the sites and read when I have more time.
@maeks84: I don't know what happens to the shared items, but when I cleaned up my starred items some time ago I noticed some things from feeds that I've stopped subscribing to long ago, so I think they stay in your reader.
