I know, it’s awesome they allowed for that option. Honestly I think they probably had to strike a balance between relative affordability (the more they sell, the quicker this platform pays for itself) and profit margins.

Oh yeah, strictly personal, work wouldnt care. One of our other sales guys just bought a new Outback, nobody minded at all.

I’m assuming there will be a few here and there that wont. I’m painfully aware that it takes some looking to find the good ones. Somehow, all through covid, we never even priced cars at MSRP, we stayed under, and all I read about was how everyone was charging markups. We were over here yelling “Hey look at us we’ll do

There is no better place. It’s a laid back family dealership in the sticks, and half our business is all repeat and referalls. I get 2 days off a week, work 50 hours max, get paid on units and not gross, we sell at invoice, and there is ZERO trickery or bs’ing anyone. No add on fees, No deposits required, we custom

I can’t own one as long as Jeep pays my paychecks, but I really hope this thing knocks it out of the park, and forces Stellantis and Ford to adjust thier lofty pricing on the Wrangler and Bronco.

Middle-of-nowhere town called Malvern, Ohio. Daystar Chrysler. I’m the only Randy here, if you reach out lol.

Correct, See: Jeep Gladiator

This: I’m an environmentalist, and I have no use for a Diesel Truck at all, but they are not as deserving of the hate they receive. Even if someone doesn’t have a need for them, I’m not willing to deny someone the right to drive something they love.  The average Diesel truck probably still pollutes less than the

Why on earth would someone spend $20K on a new Corolla when they could pick one up for 2-5K used?

Of course not, they’re all $35 grand. For under 20 grand though, with a 5 year 60k warranty and a sub-$350 a month payment, you would be suprised what people would buy. Remember, even Ford was suprised with the success of the maverick. This just takes that a few steps further and finds the rest of that market.

At that price point I’d bet a LOT of metro small businesses would as well.

2 door trucks dont sell, because the only reported sales are that of new ones, and the cheapest two door truck new is a $35,000 purchase minimum.

Exactly.

Just the reality of modern safety equipment and construction. I probably should have said sub 3500 lbs, but even a 2 door Jeep is right at 4000 lbs these days.

The thing america needs right now is a revival of the mini-truck.

Yeah, the GT’s have been trouble free for us. I personally decided to lease the R/T and it is honestly a blast. If you’re a techy kind of guy, it’s a dream car. None of the reviews and articles mention all the crazy ways you can set it up, nor how ridiculously efficient it actually is if you know how to set it up.

Not bad really, We’ve sold every GT we had pretty quickly, but we only option them with cold weather group, because at that point you have cruise, carplay, heated seats and wheel, remote start and we can sell them for about 27,500 plus tax that way.

I have a time-tested method of getting around paying cash.

That’s just stuff being regurgitated by what they see online.

While the rest of the world looks at it and shrugs their shoulders, all of us here at the Chrysler Dealer I work at just saw it and it’s done the opposite of what a concept should do. Instead of inspiring, exciting, and provoking discussion and thought, we’re all pretty much just aggravated.
