I had no idea this was a thing for most of my life until I started traveling outside my home state of California. I can purchase booze pretty much of any type at any time at any place.

As a Californian who has in laws in that part of the state and has visited there a number of times, *shudder* is the correct description to use.

4- I'd say it isn't ISN'T the ending, if that makes sense. I think it's safe to say there will be elements of this battle over all in the novel, but maybe it'll be like how Hardhome was told by it's survivors.

I’ve not seen the episode yet, but would it be fair to say that it suffers from the lack of network restraints? I’d be curious to see how a shorter 30 minute version of this episode would play out when forced to convey more in a shorter period of time.

Oh, there will be more maggots for sure...

Well I’ve learned a ton today, thanks!

Fuck.

The Cheesy Potato Burrito does not get the recognition it deserves. Way underrated. And I say that as a full on Taco Bell hater.

Ewing is only the fifth black woman to write for Marvel, ever.

Aaaaaand you posted at 4:20 pm.....

Oh I’m so so sorry

As a grad of Cal Poly SLO (the real Cal Poly, not the Pomona one) I can tell you there is not a single fucking place to get an even semi decent bagel in that town.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how the the 1610 reveals itself...

Eh, agree to disagree.

But Fire and Blood is written ‘in universe’ by a maester, who are known to not be totally truthful.

Nah, it was the 90s. The glorious, glorious 90s.

Overall, I agree. But I wonder if this is one of the story beats that they were able to suss out of GRRM. And if it is, how that particular narrative item will be executed will be particularly interesting.

*shudder*

Interesting question.

I never ever thought I’d say I love a printer, but I love that printer. Does what it needs, no questions asked.
