That I will totally agree with.

I agree, in theory. And too am glad they are trying new things-- I wish more shows would. But I’ve not been too fond of the execution of the last few seasons.

Question: How do you all think this will play out in the books?

I very well think she well. Show Margaery is less essential than Book Margaery, and I fully expect to see BM survive the game, grow old, and continue to scheme.

I don’t see a single food described in there, so no.

I’ve never understood the appeal of taking beautiful slabs of beef and pork, seasoning them with the ideal balance of seasonings, laboriously slow cooking the protein over choice wood.... then shitting all over them with fucking BBQ sauce.

Am I the only one that misses spy shenanigans?

And that guardian angel’s name is Lorne Michaels.

I did not care for What We Do in the Shadows as a film (but really wanted to as I loved the concept, but not the execution). I’ve been wanting to watch Toast of London for a while as it keeps popping up on my Netflix recommendations. Is it worth checking out if I didn’t care for WWDitS?

Probably not the place for this, but considering this just happened....

I remember pulling the trailer up for T:R up on the TV at a BBQ, and no believed me when I told them that was Cate Blanchette. That woman can get it.

It really should be called “Why You Should Always Tip More, featuring the Salty Waitress.”

Cheapskate.

**swoooosh**

Ooo, a “What if...” series of novellas set in the ASOIAF universe....

California. People take their pinot seriously.

I’m in California. Throw a stick and you’ll hit a tasting room and/or a winery and/or a garagiste.

Counter-Counter point: in the radius of a few miles, there are ton of wineries and tasting rooms near where I live, and I can very much verify things can and will come to blows over wine snobbery.

I seldom care for Ross’s work outside of Marvels, but I adore this cover.
