It’s a shame those old Grand Prix Formula 1 cars are deathtraps. They look so damned cool.

At least they are still 2 live crew...

Ride in the caboose.

It does sound like a train.

We roll out the extra ‘e’ on special occasions.

That’s one of the prettiest undercarriages I think I’ve ever seen.

It’s a cruiser, not pretending to be anything more, and I don’t hate the color. The wheels would have to go, but still, I think it will find a home for close to this price. NP.

Half of this country is financially illiterate. Nothing new. It’s the same as people paying $2k/month for a fully loaded pick up truck, and asking for gofundme help. Or people taking out loans to pay for weddings.

I would drive the hell out of this. I love the i8. I don’t care that it *only has 375 hp. It’s quick enough for me, looks like a damn spaceship, and apparently covers highway miles with ease.

It’s the DS, and it’s not even close. Technologically, it was ahead of its time by multiple decades, but it also moved car design beyond post-war austerity and showed to the rest of the world that you can design simple cars that are well-proportioned and don’t have acres of chrome and nonsense hanging off of them. I have never seen one of these in my life. Does it adjust the actual headlight down? What vehicle is that from?

I’ve mentioned this a couple times here before, but I’ll be in the former Tesla owner club soon enough. I know of a bunch of other people that are too. With NACS being adopted, changing is easy. And gets easier the more Musk descends into lunatic Bond villain

The effect of Elon Musk fuckery on sales likely adds up to a rounding error.

I wonder how much declining build quality and, in the case of the CyberTruck, bad design choices has affected sales?

I wanted a Tesla for a while and now I wont even consider one as an option.

I really wish he just stepped down after the model Y was done. He’s just using the company as his own personal vanity project now. Anything useful he could have provided to the advancement of EVs, he did years ago; now he’s running the company into the ground.

Elon is a fucking POS and you shouldn’t give him any of your hard earned money.

Which is why I brought up Supercharger access. I’ve talked to so many people who felt like Tesla was their only option because of the charging network. Once the dam broke there, suddenly anyone who wants an EV gets the biggest benefit of owning a Tesla without having to buy a Tesla.

That’s definitely one of the reasons, but the other reason is probably that their cars are now 6+ years old and fucking old now interior or exterior wise.

Talk about everybody missing the boat on the clearly correct car: You want a little bit of fun? You want a little bit of space? You want it for under $15k? What you want is a 2010-2013 Ford Taurus SHO:
