My iud causes pms cramps that feel like early to mid labor. Just saying. I've had two kids and the resemblance between cramps and labor is annoying.

I was 11 when I got my period and my mom refused to let me wear tampons, so I was ostracized at camp for not swimming, etc. It was such a traumatic experience, getting my period. There are many things that my mom did that had really negative effects on me, which is why I don't talk to her anymore.

For reals. They're both pretty googleable and this is entirely interesting.

Where can I sign up to get scraps from Daniel, Gramercy Tavern and Per Se? Without being killed in 60 days, of course. Did I miss that sign up sheet?

I think my nanny has a degree in social work. What does that make us?

Awesome, this is really cool to see! The idea, not the patterns.

Very true. I try to take 30 min each week (!) away from my kids to workout (you can't workout in a 2bed apt when you have 4 people living there) and its my me time. Total godsend.

I have a Paraguard and my PMS cramping feels like early to mid labor. It's annoying, to say the least.

It sounds like it would be a great fit for you, actually. Our nonprofit scene is great, the outdoors are readily accessibly everywhere. People ride bikes, though I don't because I crash. I think the Seattle freeze is real, but I think it's the same in pretty much every city - the meetup groups are extensive.

My three year old decided that he is Spiderman, daddy is Antman, his little brother is Wasp, and I am Ironman. Which I am very excited to be.

On a different note, Fashion Week looks really uncomfortable. Like, everyone is squished in next to each other. Personal space?

I had the same rant about my in-laws for our wedding. My MIL asked what to wear and I said customarily no white. She said oh well, the outfit she had was white. So she wore white to our wedding. I was livid - because it's totally rude to ask someone what they want and do the exact opposite. Grr. I feel ya.

Oh wow sending good wishes. I was unemployed with my last pregnancy - the state aid health insurance for pregnant women was a lifesaver. Also, WIC. There's nothing wrong with using assistance when you need it - the people who worked with us were wonderful. I hope you can have great DSHS people too.

Me too! People think I'm crazy.

They wanted me to do my boozing after my first pregnancy? That doesn't seem like a good idea.

My boys (1 and 3) both have cars and trains and baby dolls they carry around and take care of. My oldest named his "baby boy Amy".

I can't either. I'm not sure I feel totally bad about it either.

Also, if she's gonna be sticking her tongue out, she should brush it first. This is kinda gross.

Not really…he gets fixated on stories. Like right now he likes Tangled and wants to hear about it every night. It used to be Cars. Before that Thomas.

Yep, he follows my finger and tells me what I'm pointing at. If I ask him to point at something, he will. If I point at something, he'll look.
