No kidding. I’m not one for celebrity gossip, but I think the fact that they’ve been a couple for a few years and have a child together would be worth mentioning. 

I’m willing to bet Scott Schwartz won’t make an appearance.

Hope they bring back John Powell and Harry Gregson-Williams for the music. Honestly one of my all-time favorite film scores. With kazoos!!!!

Raiders

Has anyone else seen any hint of the pod-racing arena in all those wide shots of Mos Espa?  I’ll admit I haven’t been looking all that closely, but it seems like it should be in there somewhere, right?   It reminds me of the Netflix Marvel shows that refused to show a glimpse of Stark Tower in all the shots of NYC…

Not that I ever need an excuse, but this is a good time to rewatch Sneakers. 

I also waited because of pandemic reasons, plus a crazy schedule over the holidays meant I couldn’t go when it wasn’t going to be as crowded. It was out nearly 2.5 weeks before we could catch it and I pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn’t stay spoiler-free that long.

I watched the first episode two weeks ago, and I burned through the first season in a few days. It’s not a great show, but it’s compelling enough to make me want to know what’s going to happen next.  

That’s good to know. And even though I haven’t seen anything yet confirming the previous Spider-Men (Spiders-Men? Spider-Mans?) will show up, I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t happen.

My wife and I have been back to see two movies since we got our third shot two months ago. We went on a Friday afternoon and waited until just before we got to the theater to buy tix so we could get seats as far away from others as we could. I love Branagh’s movies. Seeing his Henry V and Much Ado About Nothing were really what woke me up to enjoying Shakespeare. But he did have an urge to populate his film with famous American actors in smaller roles that mostly served to distract me whenever they popped up. I wonder if he was able to wrangle more money…
