From Allpar:

The reason it is “banned” is because you need a roll cage (not just a bar), window net, NHRA Competition License to go quicker than 9.99, full fire suit, and fire gloves. And it’s only a few MPH away from needing a parachute. (150 mph trap speed makes that a requirement)

Yeah, but I see labor as no different than any commodity. And the price of labor responds to market forces in exactly the same way... when not fixed by governments or unions. Taxi companies are one of the most clear cut cases of a privileged/subsidized industry that KNOWS it cannot compete in an open market so fights

Well, you see, in Travis Kalanick’s world, it’s not a taxi if you hail it with a cell phone app. It’s a “disruptive industry”.

It’s also a generally unionized proposition that doesn’t take well to being shoved out of business by “post-capitalism”, but that’s a big, sticky economic argument for another venue.

I’d be a little more sympathetic to “taxi cab laws” if they weren’t leveraged to create artificial oligopolies that stifle competition in the marketplace.

They also quoted as saying:

It is only better to have both if the PATRONS want both. If some 3rd party that doesn’t give a lick about said activity wants dingles instead of dangles, or dingles and dangles, or dangles with dingles, they can pack sand.

You have to first objectify women yourself to call out for the need to objectify men for that ‘fair’ game play that satisfies you.

Seriously, your article implies that women who got a job or pay for their beautiful looks is a form of objectification (which they gladly take as an exchange for money) while the superior

They don’t need to. Why? Because they already have the DRIVERS who are the center of the female fan’s affection. Do some of you article writers need stuff like this spelled out in those wooden elementary blocks or what? SMH.

Uh, the Viper is their road course car. It’s beaten the 918 and P1 for a 1/10 of the price...

It’s actually a not-very-uncommon aftermarket item that people have been using for screw style blowers for a while. Dodge is not clever by adapting one to the Demon.

It’s almost like this is designed for the drag strip...And doesn’t have to be used elsewhere.

That’s a lot of words for not caring.

Let’s get PHYGITAL

That’s total bollocks. Singers are all carbon fiber other than the doors. They make the entire bodyshells. And that’s far from all they do. You need to do a LOT more research before posting nonsense like that.

You can think whatever you want but as a practical matter there is no difference. They’re taking steps to identify people and avoid people who A) they are legally entitled to avoid if they so choose and B) are likely to cause them expense and difficulty.

I’m constantly amazed at bad internet lawyering. On what basis do you, random internet person, declare their business model “illegal”? Have you approached federal prosecutors with your damning evidence of their illegal business model?

Unless you’ve worked an active flight deck, you’ve never felt anything like it.

People here really need to chill out and lay off the judgment. This is a major company releasing a street legal drag car and trying their best to make it awesome.
