Maybe. But this does not explain the gargantuan 6mph advantage in trap speed the Porsche had. The GT-R got owned and it wasn't the traction.

Is it elitist or ageist? Or simply just funny?
Foxbody Mustangs have 4 lugs, ~3000lbs and 300 lb-ft of torque. I think the Miata will be fine. Besides, it's more about vehicle weight/GVW. Vehicles are heavier these days, thus more 5 lug wheels. My truck has 8.
I'm confused by their use of the term Skyactiv chassis. Skyactiv is Mazda's engine technology or more accurately, their name for the current-gen, super-efficient engine architecture. Why extend that to include the rest of the vehicle?
People vote with their wallets and GM will build what it thinks they want to buy. Whatever their tactics, if the product is crap and you still buy it that's on you. Perhaps you're upset that you are a minority in your opinion and that for that reason GM will never build a car you like? Your statement also seems to…
What you say seems to make sense at face value but it does not explain the fleets of diesel haulers out there. And these are companies that have far experience hauling heavy equipment than Tesla... some also have dozens, if not hundreds of diesel pickups, not, um, 11.
What a confounding situation I find myself in... it's like someone asking me which testicle to sacrifice. I honestly can't say, I love them both so much.

I had a '71 Cutlass. First car. Rocket 350 was a great engine. I'm not sure at one point the Cutlasses started looking like Hondas but they've really lost my attention.
Tesla should put their plant wherever it makes the most financial sense. Period. I doubt they will play "hurt feelings" when there is investor money at stake. This is why I think it will be in Texas whether they change the dealer laws or not.
Well that's just it. It's a bunch of screaming and bitching about human nature. Lusting after hot asses is NOT a choice. Don't judge me!
LOL. I respect that.
When you say "grid girls" do you mean girls like these:
See... this is what I'm talking about. Nobody know's how to "just coast it off the road" anymore. Pointless loss of an FJ.
They won't do anything other than what they would for a typical recall because that would indicate complete culpability and damage their lawyers ability to negotiate settlements.
Attention Cobalt owners!!! We're sooooo sorry! If you aren't dead, please come in for a free oil change and lube! Full release optional.
On Star: This is OnStar how may I help you?
What happens when you're the 3rd generation of humans that have grown up with autonomous cars and you no longer know how to drive, or at the least not very well, and and it shuts down unexpectedly?
It's like:
