Sounds like a leaf blower. I mean, a really cool, tuned, like 10hp leaf blower...

Interesting. I like drag racing and i'll always love the sounds and smells of BBC on alcohol but this is cool too.

Markets react to negative news. This has nothing to do with a general unease with battery tech.

Lol. Come on, human have been advancing for the past 100,000 years in spite of(because of too) human nature which requires us to knee jerk... it's kinda how we don't walk off of cliffs or don't leave our hands on hot or sharp things. You can't fight it, it just is what it is.

I'm not sure what oxy acetylene costs these days but I'm pretty sure water is cheaper. Of course, you have to add in the electricity costs but it seems to me this might be cheaper to run (but most likely not cheaper to buy).

No hay fotos de culos? Pinche Espanoles.

It's all about high RPMs and heads. The DI will help too. But to make 100 hp/l there going to have to rev the snot out of it.

It's not a problem... they can surely build it. But should they? Most v8s that are in the 100hp/liter (or more) range get there by revving to the moon. I just don't see an 8k rpm screamer as a Mustang type motor. Hopefully I'm wrong and DI will be all they need to build a torquey 500hp 5.0l v8.

So... if the turbo 4 is not coming until 2016/17 then what is the entry level car on 2015? I assume the same, or tweaked, 3.7 liter v6?

A 100 hp/l 5.0 v8? I mean that would be cool... I just doubt it. DI with an 8K rpm redline? In a production Mustang?

Must be the same spell cast on this...

Hey man, check out my 2063 Corvette! It's bad ass! It can lap Leguna Seca in 1:02 while I masturbate to SMFBA-HD porn displayed on the wind screen! Talk about heads up display...

"Through an analysis of reams of data, they've proven that their automobiles are smoother and safer than the average driver."

Exactly. In fact, the list of things Clarkson does like is particularly short. Which is why when he does actually like something, people pay attention.

I think he's a caricature of Texas that is not good for our image but I agree with the principle. I don't do it but I prefer to keep the law out of it. Mostly because it is simply another revenue stream, another tax and a way to grow government. That said, I'm perfectly OK with a law that punishes folks that are in

I was broke in my 20s... Made better money in my 30s... Have no complaints in my 40s (ahem, very early 40s, like 41s)

Amen. It feels petty, childish and unnecessarily antagonistic that so many feel compelled to categorize and sub-categorize and then, for what other reason is there to categorize, draw sweeping conclusions about those categories they've created. They are nothing but broad generalizations; abstractions really. I like

You're exactly fucking right. Can you say San Francisco? Home of the most benevolent and tolerant rich white people in the world.

As a Texan, this offends me deeply. My vote is John Hamm.

"But, despite testimony by Musk and Tesla vice president Diarmuid O'Connell—as well as the support of Model S owners and fans who rallied inside and outside—the bills died in committee."
