Those numbers don't add up chief, where'd you get them?

If you don't have the the sickness, no, you wouldn't understand. It's just a weird addiction to, you know, how much power can I strap myself into and then light the candle. Doesn't have to be a car. But it's not exclusive of cars either. Rolling onto the throttle of a 500+ hp machine at 70 mph and feeling the shove,…
~300 Veyrons have been sold since 2005 and, according to the irrefutable wikipedia, none have sold in 2012. It IS a production car though, I will not argue that it isn't, but some perspective is needed. It's one of the most exclusive supercars in the world.
You highlight an issue that I'm constantly bringing up. If you look back 10, 20, 50 years ago at the medical trends of the time, you'll see hard scientific conclusions that were later contradicted, then contradicted again. History should teach us, society, to uptake this data more cautiously, to let it pass the test…
As seen in Austin...
I like that picture. I like it with those wheels.
Thanks for the sanity check. I was thinking the same.
Ferrari FF
Effective eschmective. Purpose built cars have their place but don't appeal to the imagination like fast road cars. It's the same argument that ended up with NASCAR being more spec racing series than stock car series.
Very stable at high speeds. Very slippery. Hugely capable motor that can accept tons of boost with the right parts. Huge aftermarket support for said engine makes modifications very affordable (relative to other supercars).
But... it's not a timed run. I'm sure you meant better MPH.
I wouldn't assume the transmission is stock. Or any other component on that car. I believe this was the same car that ran 256mph in the mile.
You are exactly right. On both counts.
You thought because you were on a bike you were immune to idiotic road rage? Or no, you're special, car drivers don't experience idiots like this?
Needs more Lenco...
No va. I see what you did there....
I appreciate the sentiment but I really don't see Matt as any type of tough or authoritative figure. Maybe dressed up in ass-less chaps though... Maybe.
Well.. I misssed this on Friday, that sux. Adios dude.
No. And I generally welcome immigrants.
I would NEVER wear a Canadian flag on my backpack when traveling abroad. I will be a courteous and complimentary American, one drop in the bucket to perhaps turn the tide of opinion to the contrary. Besides, I don't wear backpacks.
