Y'know what GJ,I is really good at? Having article titles that are juuuuuust clickbaity enough, without delving into the territory of "13 INSANE CELEBRITY FETISHES. #8 WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.

Whenever I see the McPoyle character, I start thinking about milk and lose any thread of continuity. That ridiculous storyline doesn't help, either.

Ditto. It's like watching someone in a horror movie open up a door when you know something awful is on the other side. And Nev seems like one of the unshittiest people on TV, especially the cesspool that is reality TV.

Well, at least they can cash in on that Canadian radio quota, much to the dismay of Barenaked Ladies and Alanis Morrissette.

My best guess is an allegorical illustration of someone "losing their faith." Have you read Neil Gaiman's short story, "The Problem of Susan?" It's a thoughtful look at that issue.
Also, one thing that I really enjoyed about Lev Grossman's The Magicians, was characters dealing with the whole "You're no longer allowed

Ditto! My parents bought me my own set, because my dad's were falling apart. Fellowship was my favorite, and remained that way with the movies.

As a young, well-indoctrinated right-winger, I remember being offended that Jesus was lumped in with mere mortals, even if they were in the Hall of Fame.

Actually, in The Last Battle after Narnia ends, Aslan tells the kids that they all died in a train accident, and now they're all* with him, since he and Jesus are the same. I can't remember if he specifically says Jesus, but it's super-non-allegorically implied at the least.
*Except Susan. Susan goes to hell.

Stupid twins. Why couldn't they be social rejects like the rest of the family?

I enjoyed the Martian, on the level that I saw it described somewhere as "the best commercial for engineering." Plus, I'm excited about anything that has the potential to direct more funding towards NASA, directly or indirectly. But I LOVED Interstellar. It totally inspired feelings of hopefulness for the future of

"Daddy's Boy."

I bet it'd really take off in the European market.

The picture for the NCIS cast reminds me of something you might find on the website for your local State Farm representative. I stared at it bemusedly for a minute, and then lol'ed at the caption. Nailed it with that one.

"Based on the star's famous love of animals, this musical comedy portrays Billy setting out to add a sheepdog to his vast entourage of animals and coming back with an irresistible horse named Armitage instead."
-From the Wikipedia entry for I've Gotta Horse, which I'm totally watching on March 1.

One of my favorite t-shirts looks approximately like this:

I have one reality show love - Survivor. Part of what I love about it IS the craftsmanship of the production. First of all, there's enjoyable cinematography with a lot of beautiful vistas and bizarre animal shots. But what I really love is when they capture a semi-private conversation or moment that alters the

People love drama. Especially if that drama involves "real" characters who have been specifically depicted as either easy to hate, or easy to love. That said, personally, it repulses me.

I'm pretty sure I remember that scene from A Beautiful Mind.
