I think they’ll be lucky if they get one full paycheck between now and the next shutdown, forget about the backpay. There’s a good chance it won’t even be a full check, it’ll probably be a partial, whatever their last pay period was supposed to be before the shutdown.

I’m pretty sure the issue isn’t that the Zapper doesn’t like how frames are rendered by modern TVs, because my old-school projection TV renders the black-and-white frame properly, yet the gun doesn’t register a hit even when you’re right next to the screen. I’m not quite that tall (6'2", 6'3"), but I’m continuously surprised by how much headroom I have in my first-gen Scion xB.

My biggest problem with this generation of Sims is the pricetag on the expansions.  I didn’t play 3, but this time around, compared to 2, it really seems like the price for the expansions is far higher than it should be for the content/gameplay additions included.  I’m already around, what, $200 in on this new one,…
