I got into cars later than most, I was nearly 30 when I got my license, and wouldn’t consider myself an enthusiast until a couple years after that. What got me into it was a combination of playing Forza Motorsport 4 on the Xbox 360 and discovering Top Gear.

When I bought my Fiesta ST I financed through the dealer because there were some incentives only available if I used their financing which came out to 8%. Once I received the paperwork in the mail for the loan I went to my credit union and refinanced the car with them at 1.75% before I’d even made my first payment.

You’re incorrect about the 1 series. They are great cars. I think you mean the *20’s. like the 320i. Those are the entry level ones.

I drive a Fiesta ST as an Uber car and that’s the car I signed up with, so you’ve got some bad information there.

I rented a Ford Ka in France this summer that had this same revolutionary advanced technology.

None so far. I scoot the front passenger seat all the way forward and I scoot my seat more forward than I thought would be comfortable, but you know what? This car has so much room in the footwell and under the wheel that even though I’m a bit cramped it doesn’t impede my ability to drive, nor does it hurt my back or

I get 26 city and 32 highway in my Fiesta ST and I pretty much never take it easy when I drive either. If I drove like a granny I’d probably get even better, but why bother when it’s this good driving how I want?

#4’s cavalier attitude towards getting underneath a car held up by only a hydraulic jack is terrifying.

I love my 2015 FiST and I drive the piss out of it everywhere I go and get 26MPG. It’s the perfect car for days when I can’t drive the Miata. And these two cars make for the perfect combination of cars in my opinion.

It has to be the Mazda RX500. Powered By ROTARY.

Reminds me of this, which I love.

Have happened, not of happened. Think, people.

So you never actually played FM5 then. What DLC was promised and never delivered? I never bought a single microtransaction but I have every car in the game that I was interested in (more than 150 cars) and I have 40 Million credits in the bank. This game suffered from internet panic and that’s it. FM5 was a great game.

Except that much money gets you on the track once and going back is a constant ongoing expense. With the game you can keep going indefinitely and any future expenses are much smaller than track days and fewer and further between.

“That’s not to brag, but we are very tight with what we spend and we save as much as we can. We don’t travel nearly as much as our friends, and we work our asses off with our main jobs and we each have our own side businesses.”

Yikes, a credit union is great. My credit is in the 600s and I got a 1.75% loan on a car by using a credit union.

“Wife finishing school”

Ouch, that sucks!

How did they ruin a Saab Viggen? There was no destruction in that episode.

I almost always speed, and I’ve only ever been pulled over in a silver Passat and a rental blue Impala. Not in the black FR-S, the grey RX-8, or the orange Fiesta ST.
