I picked up a case of Fiddlehead's Second Fiddle Double IPA the other weekend while on a brewery tour last weekend. I've been burned out on IPAs for a while now, but I found this one to be a refreshing change of pace.

Nothing out of the ordinary for me. Secret Empire, Uber: Invasion, Kill or Be Killed, Saga, Sex Criminals, and Southern Cross. I'm really tempted to grab the two issues of Aliens: Dead Orbit, I'm a big James Stokoe fan.

I will say though that as a child those books were what really got me into fantasy.

Hey there were badgers and rabbits too

I got through the first six volumes of East of West this last week thanks to Comixology Unlimited. This might be the most I've enjoyed a Hickman book. There's enough going on in the book that his tendency to go "This thing happened" actually feels like a service to the book and not a hindrance.

Jordie Bellaire the first colorist I can actually recognize on sight

I thought the lack of covers would please you, knowing that Marvel ad person is listening.

Warren Ellis wrote a comic where a dude freezes Dracula then kicked his crotch off. In other words, I'm ready for this.

I met a guy at NYCC last year that had him doodle one of the Young Avengers onto the omnibus every time he saw Gillen at a signing.

My signed issue of Phonogram #1 where McKelvie accidentally smeared Gillen's signature when he was signing it

Grabbing Secret Empire, The Wild Storm and the WicDiv special today.

Might as well call the next season Professor What

Many hours were lost on that unforgiving game

I saw them last year, one of the best shows I've been to

Big Bang Theory would be 1000% better if Sheldon was actually trying to kill them all though

I mean people write love letters to serial killers and depending on the portrayal Doom isn't half that evil, so he's gotta have some in universe fandom. I heard a kid in the shop the other day say his favorite character is Deathstroke, now that's baffling.

Oh man how could I forget my copy of C23 that has the Planetary back up story that set up the series release

I think it also hurts him that he can't really do anything meaningful with the characters since they're all tied up in their own solo books.

And that was with two books even.

My old tank of a PC died after lasting way longer than it should have, so I did fresh build with the latest i5 chip. The motherboard's boot screen has a D&D'esque dragon, I'm not sure if I should be pleased or judge myself for it.
