Finally getting to see them live again in 2 weeks. Weird to think it's been about 5 years since the last time.

Let me just knock out the next few comments:
"No that's Nirvana"
"No that's Joy Division"
"No that's Led Zeppelin"
"No that's the Beatles"
"No it's that one dude sitting in his cave banging on some stone discovering beat"

I was a massive Coheed and Cambria fan up through the 4th album (I refuse to type out the title), but "Year of the Black Rainbow" killed it for me.

I can almost guarantee getting ran over by any vehicle will not make a "bap" sound

I may not be the best person for an opinion on it since they've been my favorite band for forever now. I can agree about "No Blues" though, it took me a while to really like it. But this definitely sounds like the most like the LC! from Hold On Now Youngster or WabWad.

Experience may vary by fish type and clown persona

Got my copy of Los Campesinos! "Sick Scenes" last night

I haven't reread it in a while but I can imagine parts of it don't hold up. I already know a lot of the Sliding Albion stuff probably won't sit well with me.

Only thing I think I'm picking up this week is Shutter, might grab HydraCap after the end of the last issue. So far this week I've been catching up on the stuff I grabbed last week. Which included the new Sex Criminals, Uber: Invasion, Ether and Wild Storm.

I can't wait for Ted Nugent's retort

I assume why Wells doesn't get more love is because his name will forever be associated with Brand New Day

Hey now, his Blood Meridian pic got scrapped

Thanks buddy

I'm a big fan of the album style format, it seems much more freeing for the way pages are laid out.

I'm assuming there's some sort of nondisclosure agreement from DC for a lot of creators, since you only really see it when something shitty happens or they jump ship. In general, I've always gotten a sense that DC is a much more corporate place to work than Marvel or any of the other companies.

As someone who in general has enjoyed most of Palahniuk's work, I'm going to say it's pretty bad. It starts off solidly enough but then goes off the deep end in the worst way and really loses the edge to any point it was trying to make. The art is pretty great throughout though.

I did revert to a small prepubescent child after this

I met a girl through World of Warcraft and a little later down the road she also ended things through said game. After meeting in person, things were going well since we discovered neither were actually a serial killer and actual claimed gender. Anyways, while I was cruising through the Argent Tournament grounds I

The Hydra Cap article, it turns out to be way more divisive than one could imagine
