I frequent a bar that's right across from said mediocre pizza joint. I don't know the password for the Tweed Courthouse raves though.

There's a bar I drink at on the same street

Is it ran by Fuhrer Puddinghead?

In NYC, whatever the name of the place is on Church and Chambers that I only ever get when I'm hammered at 4 in the morning

Because the target audience for it and Moongirl are young girls. By including the interviews in fun sci fi stories helps to encourage them to enter the STEM fields.

It wasn't a complete rehash but both convey the same message that Batman is a tragic figure. Morrison had a modern take on silver age superhero zaniness while Snyder was more of an action hero.

The Johnny Thunder bit in Rebirth broke my heart

I can't think of the name of it but that story about the house cats is pretty great, it's nice to see someone who can do a bit of self parody.

You'll get a bunch of shiny new number 1's. Unless there's some drastic change Marvel has no need for the same sort of event, they have their audience. It's really understated how poorly DC's books were performing that made Rebirth a necessity.

Well the simple solution would have been not bringing Barry back in the first place. There was no need for it and really devalued his sacrifice in Crisis.

I find King's Batman incredibly uneven. I don't if it's having to conform to the twice a week format or editorial tinkering but a lot of it feels off.

Yup pretty much that, Batman and probably a sizable check.

I think the line of thinking at the time was that with the seemingly free reign given to King on Vision, Marvel was setting him up for bigger things and DC poached him. How true this was who knows.

Well I think part of the problem too was that the lack of line wide continuity of DC You.

I would say the relaunch itself was pretty bad. Out the gate there were only a handful of good titles that managed to maintain their footing. The New 52 didn't really seem to find it's footing until the brief and unfortunately titled DC You era. At that point though it was already too late.

For what Info Wars claimed was going to be a satanic ritual, there sure was a lack of goat blood
