It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw individual members of the GotG in other movies. The end of the third one teased that Star Lord would be back somehow.

Not a huge fan of Paste to begin with, though to be honest havent looked at anything from them in many many years.
Oh so you can see the content but can only comment on it fi you pay?
And hopefully Paste realizes that a really vibrant comments section is a valuable thing for a content site.
whatever your body looks like it should be your choice how much of it you want to put on display. I’m not a fan of either of them but that’s pretty basic.
It’s a good thing nobody saw The Brothers Grimsby.
Shut the fuck up, minidick
You realize that one of the main reasons why people come here and why AVClub got famous is specifically because of the comments section/commentariat right? They even spent an entire paragraph talking about that in the article you linked. As you can see from the empty and dead comments on new Jezebel and Splinter,…
I can’t imagine this site is worth all that much these days... I wonder if a few of the better-off commentariat could actually make an offer.
Not that I think anyone on staff would be up to talking about it anyway, but there is absolutely a “Don’t mention the sale” mandate from above.
This is unnecessarily mean.
Better Than Ezra Joke™️
Mental health issues shouldn’t be stigmatized unless we’ve decided we kind of just don’t like the person who has them, then we can definitely use them for jokey purposes.
I’m not sure what damage the Batgirl movie could have done to the Bat brand that Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad and Justice League(both cuts) hadn’t already done.
Nobody assumed that The Flash would be a hit, especially with Miller’s “issues” and the decision to basically reboot all the DC Comics properties, which was taken before the release.
I don’t know how anyone thought The Flash was going to be good. No idea if it made money, but holy hell it was a horrible movie. I’m not much of a DCU fan but I do (eventually) give most of their movies a chance. This one, though - oh lord it was a waste of my time.
I know Zaslav is a complete fucking idiot. But when I watched The Flash recently, half of it, I just could not believe even he could have looked at that and thought it was anything but another brick in the wall of the terrible Snyderverse...the fact that he really thought it would be successful or the narrative around…
So they’re keeping their head down while dealing with apparently monstrous mental health issues. Shouldn’t we be saying something like “good call, good luck, keep it up?”
“I think we knew it would be controversial,
3 Body Problem is pretty good. But keep in mind, it’s an adaptation, as was GoT... until they got ahead of where the books were. Coincidentally, that’s when the quality started dropping. They can adapt well, but when it comes to coming up with entirely new material they’re untested, at the very least.
