A movie entirely in infrared? Isn't there a faster way to just burn out my retinas? The concept sounds horrendous and that still does nothing to convince otherwise. Gimmickry for its own sake?

I rewatched it recently with spouse and by god it really is dreck. I gave it the benefit of the doubt in the theater but watching it at home it truly is a hideous looking film with some of the worst CGI effects in recent years. The last act with Zod looks like a PS3 cutscene 

Yeah I thought the same thing. “If their blood has mutated to be acid how are they even still standing?”

These zombies have mutated to a point where if they touch or bite you or their blood gets on you, it burns you significantly. It changes all the rules.

I’ve watched it like 4 or 5 times since it was released, it’s so fun to repeat watch.

Great news! I thought this was terrific. I will gladly buy a physical copy.

Finally. Just watched it again last week and it’s still amazing. An absolute shame it never got a theatrical release, but I’m thankfully it’s actually getting a physical release, because I would not have bet on it in the current media landscape.

Lupita Nyong’o is awesome and it feels like great casting. I don’t have much faith that anything other than yet another soulless, perfunctory live-action remake will be created around her, but I have every confidence that she’ll be great.

Note to self: If i am going to steal a lot of/valuable product and i make a competing product, don’t wear a shirt of my product when committing the crime
