Ignore his critics. Notice that none of them give examples of his getting stuff wrong. Brownlee didn’t get 10 of millions of regular viewers by being incompetent.
I you shouldn’t do this the most
it goes both ways, some motorists are complete dicks to road cyclists still.... as a very responsible user of the road, i do everything in my power in order to not affect drivers on the road. ill take less used roads and roads with bike lanes or massive shoulders and whatnot. honestly it’s gotten better over the…
Well stated 👏 totally Agree 💯
Roadies are the Dodge Ram drivers of cycling. Entitled douchebags, the lot of them, even to other people on bikes and even on trails. I’ve been stopped for a light in my bike and they’ll roll through it next to me. I blame them for 90% of the interactions people have on the road with aggressive cars as the spandexers…
You’re spot on about road cyclists here in the Bay Area. Total jerks. MTB riders are generally a LOT more responsible, polite and laid back. I’ve seen them block lanes for no reason, when they could just move over slightly to let traffic through. Here in SF they love blasting through stop lights and stop signs and…
I think the bigger issue is having a buddy with a Cybertruck...
One of the best-selling and highest rated games of that year… “underrated”.
It’s nice to hear the experience of someone who actually owns an EV. It seems a lot of the commenters opine about new cars while driving their 12 year old ICE car. I have a 2013 Volvo, and am thinking about an EV if we renovate our house or buy a new one.
One would imagine they did that a long time ago.
I’ll add the Lyriq to my list! I heard 2 people talking about their Teslas, and they loved having EV’s. High up on the list was charging at home.
Both my cars are paid off, I spend maybe 50$ week between the both of them in gas so for me, it makes more economical and convenient sense to just stick with my ICE cars for now...But as soon as that VinFast Jimny comes out....
Musk was thrown out of Paypal by it’s board (and Peter Thiel) hence he set up a weak set of directors for Tesla (including his brother) so that would not happen again. They rubber stamp all of Musk’s directives.
Years ago, we used to good naturedly rib my friend by calling his VW a “Nazi mobile.” Here 30 years later, I’m almost literally driving a Nazi mobile every time I get behind the wheel of my Teslas. (Bought to reduce my carbon footprint and before Elon went insane.) I remember fondly where I didn’t have shame in the…
They will likely still exist - they are backed by Saudi oil money. It is unfortunate they’ve been having troubles at all. Seems like all their cars have been well-received and are generally regarded to be very good. There just isn’t enough of a customer base wanting to spend $150k on an electric sedan from a new…
Lucid is backed by the Saudi’s. They have a massive financial backing and are not at risk of failing soon.
Nah. When the battery goes crap and you can’t get a replacement you can just put solar panels on the roof.
This is arguably riskier than Pontiac in their sunset days. GM still existed to support any Pontiac buyers and a Chevy dealership was probably not that far away for most. There is honestly no reason to buy one of these right now unless you really need specifically this or can stomach the potential cratering of resale…
Not sure about that analogy, Pontiac being a GM brand I imagine they honored warranties and such. I don’t think parts availability was a major issue either, especially since most Pontiacs were badge-engineered.
