Currently I am happy with my 2x 290x crossfire. Not upgrading until manufacturers can offer 8GB HBM2. I am tired of games either not supporting or doing a shitty job of crossfire/SLI. Hoping the 8GB HBM2 will work well with games on 3440x1440.

Not true. UART, introduced in 1971 is still in use today. I2C, introduced in 1982 is still in use today. RS232 introduced in 1969 is still used today. Ask any embedded system engineer.

I agree McLarry but that’s not the point I am making. Having designed a proper interface from the beginning wouldn’t require the same hardware for an extended period of time. I suppose cost is not a concern for McLaren or their customers, but having done a proper method would reduce costs as well.
