Did I mention I disliked the place? Or that it was hipster douche? I wasn’t even aware it was popular until this blog post. I live in D.C., clown.

Always a favorite

Not in the original SF2, though they did have different throws, if I remember. Or SF1, where they were literally pallet swaps based on the path you chose.

The things I learned playing Monopoly with my hood friends growing up:

Funny thing: I also thought it was called “renigging,” until I went to a HCBU and was corrected.

Do the “youngs” not play Tonk? Also, I’m 37, and I can’t find anyone to play Bid with me that’s not at least 15 years older.

Tonk can sometimes get a little stabby fighty when there’s also money and yac involved, at least in my experience.

I went for the first time last month. They served my beer in a mason jar, and I don’t remember how the pizza tasted because I was so peeved about it.

If there was ever a movie that could have been made in Japan that could have had worldwide appeal, while having a diverse cast, AoT was it, and they blew it hard.

Is there any precedent for a Japanese produced movie based on a manga having Western actors? Do any Japanese movies have Western actors speaking Japanese not comically? Why would his movie be different?

Terrible stadium deal? Check

Thanks for the juicy nerd rage. The long list of replies saying get over it is so delicious

I think you’ve seen enough interations of the point flying over your GIF for me not to post it here.

So,

I’m surely in the minority, but season 2 wasn’t bad

I live in dc too. My kid goes to Yu Ying, one of the best, if not the best, charter in the city. I waited overnight in a line to get her in. If she didn’t, I’m sorry to admit it, but we would have moved to burbs.

That problem is perpeutitiy because families that are involved leave the city public school district for the “better” one in the suburb. Since no one stays, no one works to make the district better.

Oh seriously? I always thought she was also biracial/Afro-Latina. I take it back.

Mannnnn. This really sucks for me to read as an Afro-Latino man. One who grew up identifying more with DeBarge and Prince than MJ physically. I get it, but...

I’d pay $122K for that studio in any major city in the US. But, here in DC, that’s going for triple in a comparative neighborhood. Shinjuku’s not a bad place to live by far either
