For the longest time I thought "rolling stone" was just a rephrased version of "rock n roll." Maybe it's got something to do with that.

Even the publicity about the practical effects has an undercurrent of "we're rejecting everything about the prequels" rather than "Wow, look what new things we have in store for you!" I don't mind a bit of nostalgia, but it had better rise above that. I don't want a Star Wars movie that's forgettable.

My one worry about TFA is that I'm not seeing anything NEW. Like, I'm as excited as anyone for the movie, but I don't want to be pandered to with 100% desert planets and TIE fighters.

You always get so NUANCED when you're drunk!

As obnoxious as Piper can be when she's acting all privileged and clueless, I don't get the hate for her Godfather turn. Watching her assert herself actually gave me way more respect for her.

I feel like it ended on the note that it should have begun with. A huge shift in the prison environment, Piper embracing her crime lord role, Alex in serious danger, Sophia in the SHU… Next season looks like it might have that sense of momentum and danger that this one lacked. I just wish it had come earlier.

This is… primitive

The geography of that planet raises a lot of questions and wookiepedia doesn't offer any answers.

Was the droid meant to be black though? I thought it was supposed to be talking like a Foghorn-Leghorn-type southerner.

Do you know for certain that they're NOT?

How did that read as fake to you?

I just watched this episode and I've been scrolling through the comments for an hour and a half waiting for someone to mention After Hours. One of my favorite movies of all time—it seems that song can do no wrong.

(Watto's the real father)

So, does anybody want this? I feel like nobody wants this

I only discovered Ladytron a few months ago, and this song instantly leapt out above the rest. The subject matter, the sound texture, everything about it—just captivating.

Pretty sure one of those Twins from The Shining is played by Pete Campbell.

Actually, Jesus' sacrifice formed a new covenant with God that nullified all those Old Testament regulations. Basically Jesus died for our right to eat pork.

"What do we do with a man who is bigger
Than John was when John did his baptism thing?"

That Chuck reveal was quite a shock, but you know what the real shock was? Turns out, Michael McKean was in Short Circuit 2!

Flesh crayons? We call them sausages, ya freak.
