Starting Strength is great and I like Rippetoe’s approach to training in general, but his general personality and politics are fairly grating, especially recently since he seems to have gone “I can do no wrong.” HamNo kinda sets himself up as a political-polar opposite with the same attitude, but he has no real

I like the Crooked River Clevelanders if only so it can be shortened to the Cleveland Crooks.

Yeah, I thought HamNo was a Starting Strength guy. I found it odd, because Rippetoe is a pretty hardcore libertarian.

You do good work.

As a fan of the Cleveland Baseball Club, I endorse this take.

Thinking about it keeps me up at night.

I forget how I found it, as I wasn't even lurking on Deadspin in 2011, but yeah, it's one to remember.

This a real good Meat Loaf pun and I love, but the all-timer is still this bad boy.

Don’t you see, Granny Q? The rapper was in you all along!

He’s back, I think. Or he was back, then did a quick DL stint. But he’s been good when he’s healthy.

YEAH!!!

It’s not a delusion! They’re just three games back! They just need to win four games in a row, the Twins need to lose games during the easiest schedule of the season and then...they can be bounced out in the ALDS...

Well, now you know better than to say anything even vaguely inaccurate about the Red Socks.

I’ve been trying for the past three years. Good luck, because I couldn't find a way.

It hit on all the things I was wondering about regarding whether Tarantino employs all his usual racist and misogynistic tricks in the film.

What does the Game Boy Advance have to do... oh i see carry on.

I kinda think the same thing of Henry Cavill. In everything else I’ve seen him in (ok, the one other thing I’ve seen him in) he comes across as stiff and unnatural. That kinda works for Superman since Clark and Superman are supposed to be a front (weak, cowardly vs heroic, certain).

Popsicles, right? It’d have to be about popsicles.

Fun fact: earthworms aren't native to the American continents. We need to get cracking, as they are invasive and destroying the forest!

I just got back from visiting NYC and I agree. I had someone tell me that I should move out there and I said I’d last a year tops before going crazy from the noise, heat, and smells. Fun place to visit, but it’s not for me.
