They could probably adjust the shading as needed (Is Terry a Fall or a Winter?), but I can see the intensity thing. That said, on Brooklyn 99, he does have moments where he acts like a kid, usually in regards to his own kids and to yogurt.

I agree, but I want to see what they do with Superman and Batman. They really need to get those two going as they’ll have the biggest pull (except for Wonder Woman) and they’ll be essential if they try to do Justice League again.

I maintain Terry Crews should have been cast. Captain Marvel (YEAH I SAID IT) is absent enough from the public conscious that doing a racial recasting wouldn’t cause too many waves (except from the usual dregs). Plus, Terry Crews would absolutely nail the “I’m a kid in a super-powered body.” Plus, he’s already built

Not true. Sometimes there’s a deuce too.

I hear ya, but Jones probably conflates the two groups because of the shit that happened to her. I have no real dog in this fight as I’m not a big fan of Ghostbusters in general (except for that song).

And who doesn’t love Chong Lee?

Even more unpopular opinion: Ghostbusters is overrated and I am mystified that it received as much love it did and people got as worked up as they did over the reboot.

I can see the similarities, but her take isn’t happening in a vacuum. She was harassed, her phone was hacked, and personal photos were leaked by those fans who took their anger over the reboot too far. Now, the studio is just gonna roll over and give those asshats what they wanted when we are barely two years out from

Bloodsport v Kickboxer: who ya got?

To build off your point, what bugs me is that they do the underdog bit before games and then whip around and brag about rings if they win. They keep switching between being underdogs and top-dog. Just pick a dog, dammit!

To be fair, I’m not sure he was any bones at all.

During a hockey game in which I was playing as he was sending me to the penalty box

Glad to hear your dad was still getting some action at that age.

I was gonna say you’re arguing against a straw-man here, but the amount of people who’re staning for Majora here makes me kinda agree with you, vis-a-vis fans of Majora (the character, not the game).

I haven’t seen all the shows, so I can’t rank ‘em, but I watched Punisher. Iron Fist was at least entertaining in how bad it was. Punisher was boring. How can you have a show about a guy who’s sole purpose is grindhouse violence and then have episodes go by where nothing happens?

The Lady in the Lake is probably my personal favorite, but The Long Goodbye is definitely his best work. The film is pretty good too.

I’d watch it.

Eh, I think it all depends on what you’re there for. Movies like these are less about story and more about the set-pieces, so as long as they keep those fresh and spectacular, I wouldn’t mind seeing more and more. Besides, Keaunu does such a good job of playing an emotional wreck of a man, who wouldn’t feel some

You know what bugs me about that whole casino plot? The heroes never pick up the dice. You have characters come to a space casino and all they do is go to jail for a parking violation. If I wanted that, I’d watch the video tapes of my last honeymoon.

Oh, then they can play that Bonnie Tyler song! The commercials writes itself! Till the get sued for violating copyright law by not paying for the rights to the song. . .then Bakerfield gets fat eating sandwiches. . .and then footage surfaces of Gregg Williams running over an opposing quarterback with his pick-up
