Bob Johnson!
Bob Johnson!
When Spirit of Radio comes up on the radio, I always catch myself going twenty miles over the speed limit. Always a sign of a good song!
Yer butt.
I’m finally getting Rush after putting it off for a million years and now everybody hates Rush. Goddamn.
+1 Beef Slabrock
Talk about timing. I was just doing a wiki walk through John Woo films earlier today and spent quite some time wondering if that remake was still coming around.
Eh. That idealic opening is kinda necessary to really hit ya when the gunfights starts. That restaurant shootout wouldn’t pack the same punch if I hadn’t spent the past half hour watching Chow Yun-Fat act like a goofball and be the least threatening man in the world.
Yeah, but gin is already gross. Might as well double-down on it.
Whatever. Did they hug longer than Tom Brady’s kiss with his son?
Maybe if you make a gimlet wrong. A real gimlet is gin, Rose’s lime juice and nothing else.
I kinda liked the Kryptonite story-arc from Superman: Confidential. It’s probably not an all-timer, but with Darwyn Cooke writing and Tim Sale doing artwork, it’s pretty solid.
Wait...is your name also Barry?
The local park I work at has cleared out about seventy ash trees that were in the open fields and there are plenty more in the woods that will probably need to come out, if only to spare the sugar maples (plus a crabapple I’ve had my eye on). We just spent the weekend replanting some thirty trees. Everything about it…
How soon we forget.
I was thinking of posting a comment in a faux-Sox voice saying that very thing, but dismissed it as too shallow and that nobody would actually believe that...
Just wanted to pop in and say I’ve got a similar philosophy, though I make allowances for funerals and sufficiently moving scenes of movies, like when someone syncs up Colon’s home-run with The Natural.
There’s so much to choose from! I was thinking about how they say, “Real men don’t complain,” and then they proceed to complain about everything. As far as I’m concerned, masculinity at this point is kinda like religion; it should be a guide for you, as an individual man, relate to society, not you dictating to others…
The problem is, the guys who want to talk about masculinity the most are all MRA guys and they aren’t interested in discussing any changes.
Man, I used to love these. Do they still do them or are they just videos now?
Enjoy Arby’s.
