Those Chinese Characters say it all about why he is saying this. In order to secure all the funding he needs going forward, he is just beginning to sell his BS to the Chinese people. I believe that Elon does great things with making cars, but his true business is selling BS, and not selling cars.

To be fair, Tesla doesn’t just have a larger market cap than Toyota. It has a larger market cap than Toyota, Ford, GM and Fiat/Chrysler combined. Makes total sense.

This is my cousin. She just wants to look the part, but in the 3 years she has owned her Jeep it has never been off road. She is also just into whatever is new. I could easily see that extending to the new Bronco. Especially if she could get it while other people cannot. That is the most pivotal part, that she has it

Now that is really interesting. Thanks for sharing.

It is always interesting when the people working at the Mercedes service department admit they cannot tell the difference without looking at the number of lighted bars in the headlights. I asked when I took my 2018 E300 in and they said they also couldn’t tell a difference.

I was unsure about it from the start being a shop car. Then I saw that it had been stanced by the shop. No thanks, that is an image that I could never separate from the vehicle. I will let someone else have this vehicle. I bet it has lived a HARD life.

Who is paying 5% on a new car loan? If their credit is bad enough that a buyer must pay the 5% rate, then doesn’t it seem likely that they wouldn’t qualify for 0% financing either?

I was surprised not to see anyone mentioning an E91 328i. That seems like a very good answer to this. I believe they are all xDrive. They are available with a manual transmission, but that can be hard to find for a reasonable price. Just get the auto, but then get an xHP transmission tune.

I would be really curious to know if more weight down low (larger tires and skid plates) could help with the higher center of gravity.

If you think this is bad.... Just wait until the S58 goes into the Z4, but the Supra continues to just get the B58!

In other news today, worker expects to be compensated for time working. Oh wait, this just in, worker is already rich. Well why the hell should he be paid then?

I could also see many Model 3 buyers looking to hold out for a Model Y allocation now.

If image and reliability are something that you are seeking to convey, then just step up to a Lexus. Any Lexus. You can get the small car one for more sporty, the medium hybrid car one for the environment or the big car one to show who the boss (or future boss) is. You will love the reliability and better yet, there

Those numbers are thoroughly optimistic. Their job is to publicly make it seem like everything is okay, so that is what they are doing. Behind the scenes, you can bet they are talking to all of the elected officials whose campaigns they helped finance how they plan to help the auto industry.

While they are technically similar, if you have eyes, the Ford is substantially better in it’s execution.

Agreed 100%. Most of the time, there isn’t even a physical connection for the console shifter. Mercedes made the switch a few years back to a column shifter and it works really well. It took about 10 minutes for me to make the mental switch when I got an E300. Now I am always turning on the wipers in rental cars when

In today’s news, Tesla realizes there is no reason to continue to produce a product with no market at present.

I love this so much. In my head I think about how foolish it is, but then the kid in me just smiles and laughs as they change the time. Quite fun and surprisingly well executed.

I agree with what you are posting that going slow is gearing and going faster is HP. I was more referring to driving to and from the trails as being what I want the HP for. Especially with an extra 1000 lbs of bumpers, winch, full size spare, sliders, skids and tools.
