I don’t get your point. Are you trying to say that Obama was actively looking to strike out the second amendment, and force everyone onto welfare literally? And it was congress that wouldn’t let him? You think that’s what his was actually trying to attempt?

So basically, you accept that he’s a lose cannon, but put trust in an establishment that you want pushing out, to kinda keep him in check...?

Right, it’s not as if U.S. presidents have taken their country to war based on a lie, or anything recently...

Okay, champ.

I’m British, so I totally get that. At least UK politicians for the most part don’t have buildings in New York with their name plastered across, them. So some voter ignorance is somewhat expected...?

Either zero self awareness, or totally aware that masses of people agree with him, regardless of that fact.

The entire idea that Trump is for the people isn’t part of the establishment is unbelievable thing. But that’s his angle.

You can’t fight the American elite... without the American elite. A fight that takes place on top of the bodies of the 99%.

Surprising no one at this point.

I don’t think we can ignore the good will that can come with Final Fantasy XIV right now. It’s doing incredibly well, and is a really great MMORPG right now.

I dunno, I mean, Final Fantasy VII was is most people’s idea of success with the series, and it’s own spin-off: Dirge of Cerberus, didn’t sell any differently than Lightning Returns or XIII-2. X-2 also didn’t sell as well as X, but XII and XIII both have great sales figures.

My perspective is less comparing it to Final Fantasy in a negative way, but that the comparison isn’t really fair (like your point out yourself).

It’s a great series, so it’s not really a surprise. And a pretty solid franchise in Japan for a long time now.

Dunno, I think Persona is still on a smaller scale. As much flair as the game has, it seems Atlus knows how to keep control of their scope and budget (something Square-Enix should learn...).

Pretty good!

The first movie, yes. The second, not so much. As Innocence came out after SAC, and did feel more SAC than it did the original, or at least it sat somewhere in the middle.

No, I haven’t gotten around to it yet. I don’t know if I have much interest in it either.

I guess it depends... the manga, the movies, and the series all look and feel quite different as it is. And also the Arise just differs enough again.

I’d say the first season of the anime is the best that GitS has ever been.
