They can, and they do. Pretty much everywhere, too. But let’s not kid ourselves here, the helpful reviews are often a tiny part of it.

It’s the cost problem. Making for handhelds is lower cost. Barely even Square-Enix can afford to make a console JRPG these days.
It is hard. Requires a lot of grinding, all of them do. It’s a series that kinda puts the enemies on equal footing with the player.
Shining Force used to do the same thing.

Not in this case, as it’s Korean’s commenting on Korean work (the original thread comes from a Korean message board). There’s likely something else in it as appose to anything race related.
Some of those comparisons... saying they’re a stretch would be an understatement.
Konami should really look to shake-up their leadership in gaming and digital.
This, plus a fairly meaty collection of content hitting the 3DS/2DS means that Nintendo aren’t going all in on the NX, even though it’s likely just around the corner.
