I came to the same conclusion a few years ago. Also on my list of dealbreakers:

1) Lotus has the best steering feedback. The Corvette has the worst.

Because it makes more sense from a business standpoint to not go it alone. This is why car companies actually make money and aren’t run by the average enthusiast or members of the press.

Of all the possible issues, it seems like that is pretty far down the list. Ducati Monsters seem to sell just fine. 

That bumper sticker in the lede really riles me up. No, UAW, stop lying to your members - it was the government, over two administrations, that dumped $51B into GM (not including GMAC) and saved their asses. Net loss to taxpayers was $11B.

A rebate of $7,500 is no chump change. Would you be happy with that? Or would you want more?
