It’s refreshing. Kinda tired of the I’m-angry-and-I’ve-got-something-to-prove faces of cars these days — especially the little econoboxes that actually have no need to prove anything. That’s why I’m holding on to my happy gen-2 Mazda5 as long as possible. It’s so dang happy — even with its aging, arthritic suspension,

LOOK AT ITS HAPPY, SURPRISED, STUPID WITTLE FACE

honestly you end up getting so many weapons that I was annoyed my weapons weren’t breaking fast enough

E. Honda approves

Cant take jalopnik serious anymore when it comes to CVTs. Get over it, they arent going away and they arent that bad in fact I think they are great and Subaru has the best CVTs in the business.

I don’t see any value whatsoever in this proposal. How many people are DDing their Miata in areas that get snow? I did for two years and never once wished for AWD or more grip in general. I got a decent set of winter tires and had an absolute blast in the worst weather that we had had in years.

5th Gear: You really think you will have a good information for a comparison between the United States of America and Luxembourg?

And Cadillac’s engineers were apparently quite adamant about it being “fun to drive.”

Man,

How could I forget about all those homebuilt 300-Mile-Range Electric Cars built in garages that can be cranked out at a rate of hundreds per week, warrantied to last as much as 100k miles, full furnished interiors loaded with Android Auto and air conditioning, can quick charge using international standards, meet

I dunno, I think I speak for the normies when I say what Miazga did was hilarious.

Placing my bets on “just a name and some taillights.”

It really only needs 300 feet before it will find a crowd to crash into.

This is one of those fun arguments where everybody participating is wrong. The link between CAFE standards and actual fuel consumption in the US is pretty consistently 1/10th of the effect that both supporters and detractors insist it will be, mostly because it’s a poorly designed standard. Really, we’re just arguing

Westbrook I think its about time for that annual eye exam.

Meh. That’s the sound of moderately disturbed.

I’d say you’ve got a few decades before it becomes a huge concern. But it’s good to start thinking about that future now.

higher octane gas—usually 95 or 98 octane—is already common across Europe

The cheap little engine that could.

My biggest issue with BMW is the interface with the transmission. The shifter did not need to be reinvented and marketed toward hipsters like an iPhone. Sure, I can get a hot 2 series with a manual but I’ll spend twice the money I did on my BRZ or more. I don’t have that kind of money and that’s my only other option.
