Last year because of covid concerns, I put the bowl out (only slightly filled) with a note telling kids only to grab 2 pieces of candy. A few did, and a few times I looked to see the bowl completely empty after only just filling it.
At my household we generally get a mix pack that has snickers and reese’s cups, but last year we were late in getting candy, so the ones we had predominantly featured snickers and skittles.
It’s why I moved to Massachusetts.
