Yeah, the game sets you up somewhat to think that maybe it is something you should actually do....and then gives you the ending to realize it wasn’t.

It’s well-done storytelling, but not a story I want to experience again. There’s some other endings that are just hilarious though, and are some that I actively seek out

Without a doubt, it’s a tough decision. And he doesn’t make it easy as you’re leaving. Probably one of the hardest decisions in the game, other than one decision you need to make to get one of the optional endings that I’ll never do again, and won’t even watch other people do on stream.

This is Ending N. People, your

There’s also a third option, where you just leave and let Pascal deal with what happened themselves....which I actually think is the best one, in retrospect. Sometimes, you gotta learn to deal with the horribleness of what life provides, there’s no easy button to reset and try again.

I personally prefer the dye you get for the platinum, but there’s not much to do with it after getting the platinum. Well, maybe there is, but I 100%-ed and got platinum at the same time, so it’s just another pretty armor set to not get much use, haha.

I could also see something like instead of Aerith being killed, she realizes she needs to sacrifice herself to save the planet. The weight and significance of self-sacrifice, and how the one making the sacrifice deals with that choice, is something I personally enjoy in story-telling as well. It could be quite

I never enjoyed the original, so if I’m ever going to play this, it’s going to be once it is all released and I can see how it stands as a complete package.

I will say, the combat reminding me of KH and FF XV did get me interested, so that was nice.

Enjoy the Gwent! There’s a lot of it, and it’s not like Witcher 3 Gwent at all! :D

I just realized I did not play any games in 2019 that were actually released in 2019, save:

No Gideon the Ninth. I am sadness.

Short and sweet recap this week: slowly finishing the post-game stuff in my second playthrough of Final Fantasy XV, and slowly ramping up my side-questing in my second playthrough of God of War. I’m wondering if I’ll get any new tidbits of story in NG+, but it’s not like I’m bored playing through the game again. Just

So if I have a year of Disney+ for free via Verizon and hulu ad-free already, then the bundle is basically free for me for a year (-$6.99 for bundle and -$6.00 for hulu ad-free). I suppose that is worth it :D

So, while I’m still dipping into Gwent when I feel like it, I’ve been spending a lot of time in my Final Fantasy XV replay, getting ready for the upcoming fight against the Hydrean, which is always a highlight. Also, I’ve been enjoying some of the other new stuff added, even if a lot of it isn’t too crazy.

The Goose in Nintendo games would get me to buy Nintendo products again. So they should do that.

honk

No problem, glad you enjoyed it!

It was!

Oh, people very much love their tier lists and such, but you can find some avenues to be unconventional as well.

I mean, you can certainly go off meta if you want. It can be a climb, but there’s some strategies out there to use. Game does allow you to explore things, and there’s only more cards showing up soon.

It’s a very much more fleshed-out game, and a lot of mechanics are different: no spies, for example. It can take some time to learn, but I really enjoy it, even if the metas can sometimes be a little less than enjoyable. Definitely not as one-sided as Witcher 3 Gwent is.

There’s a tutorial in game, and I’m happy to

That’s a lot of advice, I appreciate it immensely! Thank you thank you.

Broken record starting up over here: still playing Gwent (a couple of wins away from making the top rank again), which has a new expansion coming at the end of the month, still replaying Final Fantasy XV (about to jump into Episode Gladiolus), but I actually didn’t play that at all this past week, as my Gwent interest
