Good to hear, I'm currently taking on levels in the arenas as I'm able to during my second time through the game. They have been much more of challenge than I expected.

Push yourself beyond your limits. Just remember, I'm in your corner.

While you can't save in that first mission, your ending is a great reminder that you need to save at regular intervals. THERE IS NO AUTO SAVE. (In caps, because this is basically what the game tells you 5979823465840361817057 times, and in this fashion).

Quen discharge won't take you that far in the expansions; it's powerful, but you'll need insane amounts of sign power (not intensity, but actual power increase) to have it kill bosses by itself in the expansions. There's a quest in Blood and Wine that will give you the chance to have an ability for 2000+ Quens and

The quests in NieR can be somewhat frustrating, because there's no gauge of how hard the quest is in-game, so it can be a lot of trial and error. No shame in leaving any of them for later, since you have the ability to finish all of them. Nothing in the game is able to be missed, save one ending.

First quest you mention is much easier via hacking, in my experience, and probably toward the end of Route B so you have assistance.

Wasn't Super Spike V-Ball the game that was packaged or was to showcase the 4 controller adapter thing that came out for the NES?

Will this involve photon torpedoes? If so, I'm in.

Should probably wait, as Pixel 2 (or whatever it will be called) is being released later this year.

My favorite VCR board game was easily Nightmare, and a follow up, Atmosfear. Two crazy Australian board games. The Gatekeeper, what an asshole.

Reminder that Life is Strange needs to be finished on my vacation as well. However, games where there are seemingly a lot of major choices are hard for me; I'd prefer someone with me while playing to help discuss the choices. However, I have yet to find my gaming Mr. Spock. Oh well, c'est la vie.

If you don't want to play this game after hearing:

Without a doubt. Taro does his weapon stories right. Geesh.

Back away when you see bats, and I think Aard might push them away? Or roll towards them to go under them. I think those were the tactics. Also avoid the fuck out of black slime pools.

Hell, the next boss fight after the frog is easily the worst/hardest boss fight in the game.

Enjoy my city this weekend! Looks like we will have amazing weather for the races.

Running the abandoned highways looking for endangered monsters and chaos shards. So. Much. Fun.

13-2 was my first platinum as well. Such a great game.

Yrden + Superior Golden Oriole make the fight a lot easier. Yrden just owns the Frog, gets stuck in it.
